CJCS COMMENTS RE UFO INCIDENT

(U) CJCS, at 10 Nov Morning briefing, indicated that when UFO sight-
ings are reported, the NMCC should ask for temperature gradients in
the area (i.e., for possible aloft inversions). The CJCS also
questioned the advisability of scrambling aircraft against reported UFOs.
